the 2011 AMA's were glamorous!

Well, the AMA were fantastic this year! And yes, while the Music awards are all about the tunes, it's also time for the stars to strut their stuff with some brilliant, colorful and unusual styles. However, there was more than one fashion blunder, which every red carpet needs.... 
For this article, Trend Worthy will look at 4 stars and give ratings of whether they make or break the styles of 2011!




This year, glamming it up in a gold, gold Reem Acra dress was Taylor Swift. The Golden gal went out for 3 nominations, getting special mention in winning the Country Girl award! Congratulations Taylor! We rate her dress 8/10!



















This is so tamed and unusual, compared to Nicki Minaj's standards of her red carpet dresses. Instead of being weird and ugly, its almost plain and ugly. One better comment was that "she looked like a blooming flower, her green dress being a wonked out stem". One thing we can say here at Trend Worthy, was that she seemed to not care of the dress, or the fact that she nearly fell out of her high heels. The pop star, walked off, thanking God and her fan's, even giving special mention to some bodyguards? I'm glad she didn't thank her fashion designer! For this year, it's a disappointing 4/10!

Katy kept it simple this year with oriental Vivienne Westwood gown. Bit of a geisha theme going on with the hair? Although not the usual style picked for the red carpet, nor the best chosen dress for the cold night, we believe that it was a nice choice, because she still looked beautiful! Our score, 7/10!

























Pop princess Selena Gomez walked the perfect line between elegance and sexiness, plus it didn't hurt that she arrived on the arm of her boyfrien, Justin Bieber (singing his Debut new christmas song about mistletoe)! Her Giorgio Armani gown was low cut and theatured a thigh high slit, and yet Selena was the picture of old school hollywood glamour. We rate it 8/10!
